Arsenal is currently in 5th place and equal on points with a rejuvenated Manchester United. Both clubs are chasing Chelsea who is in the final Champions League spot and 3 points ahead. The Gunners win over Chelsea in their last match in the EPL was vital and now they are in with a great chance of getting into the top four by the end of the season. If they had not slipped up in the game before against West Ham which they lost 1-0 they would be equal on points with Chelsea so they can not afford to slip up again if they are going to make up the difference.

Cardiff F.C

Cardiff is in deep trouble as they are currently in 18th place on 19 points in the relegation zone. Unless they turn things around fast they are in danger of their time ending in the Premier League at the end of the season. They lost 3-0 against Newcastle United in their last match will have dampened confidence and have only managed to get a single point in the EPL this year which was a draw against Huddersfield. In their next three matches in the league, they are at home at Bournemouth, away at Southampton and at home again against Watford. It is a pivotal time and unless they manage to get lots of points from these games they will go down.

Prediction – Arsenal Win

It is a must-win game for both teams but for completely different reasons. The Gunners will be full of confidence after their win over Chelsea and due to the fact they are playing at home, it should be enough for them to grab all three points. If Arsenal scores early they could go on to get a few goals in this match which is why I predict a 3-0 victory for them.
