Crystal Palace is currently in 15th place in the Premier League on 23 points which is the exact same as both Southampton and Burnley. All 3 clubs are only 4 points from 18th place Cardiff City and in danger of been relegated at the end of the season. The match against Fulham who is in 19th place gives Palace a great chance to give themselves a bit of breathing space if they can get the 3 points. They drew 1-1 with Southampton in the last EPL game so they need to win this one to put the pressure on the others. They are at home to West Ham and away to Leicester City in their next two matches in the league so they need to climb up the table over the coming weeks or could go down.
Fulham F.C
Fulham is in 19th place on 17 points and 6 points from safety so if they lose against Crystal Palace the chances of escaping the drop are slim at best. They are at home to Manchester United in the next EPL game followed by an away trip to West Ham so they are going to need to find top form along with having some luck if they are going to get the points they need to escape the drop. They did manage to beat Brighton 4-2 in their last league match so confidence will have been boosted after that result so hopefully, that will help them get the much needed 3 points.
Prediction
Both teams are in desperate need of points or they are in major trouble so I expect this match to be an aggressive encounter. Palace has a lot more firepower than Fulham which should make the difference which is why I predict a 2-3 win.
