Everton has lost their last two matches in the Premier League one nil and is currently not in form. They were humiliated at home on the 23rd of January by Spurs who banged in six goals to the Toffees two but bounced back the following match against Burnley by winning 1 – 5. They currently sit on 27 points so should only need another four wins to see them secure their future in the EPL. With Southampton and Huddersfield in their next two matches after Bournemouth, it gives them a great chance to go on a run so that they can secure a top of the half table finish but they will need to improve a great deal if they are going to get into Europe.
Bournemouth F.C
Bournemouth like Everton have been on the back of some thrashings in recent weeks with the likes of Spurs putting five passed them and Man U four. Their last match in the EPL was a thrilling three all draw against Watford and the game against the Toffees has a chance of being packed with goals. Both teams are on exactly the same points so it is a vital midtable game and the winner will be in with a chance of moving up to eighth place depending on other results.
Prediction – Bournemouth Win
If Everton set up with a high defensive line like they did against Spurs, Bournemouth will exploit that with high pressing to get the win. Everton seems to be playing better away from home at the moment and struggling to cope with the pressure of the home crowd. The first goal will be vital as it will open up the game so whoever gets it has a great chance of winning. I think Bournemouth will win by a score of 2 – 3.
