In their last EPL match, they were beaten playing away at Burnley 1-2 and are in desperate need of points. The sit second from bottom on 14 points and are 5 points from safety. They face Brighton and Crystal Palace after the Spurs game which they will need to win if they are going to stand a chance of avoiding the drop.

If Spurs are going to win the title this season they can not afford any more slip-ups like their last outing in the Premier League which they lose to a revitalized Manchester United 0-1. They are currently on 48 points and are 9 points behind leaders Liverpool and 5 points behind second-placed Manchester City. With the games coming thick and fast due to them still in all competitions the manager is going to have to rotate his squad to cope. With the possibility of Kane been out injured and Son away during January, the other players are going to have to take on the goalscoring responsibility if they still want to be in the race come the end of the campaign.

Spurs have been banging in goals for fun so I can see Fulham getting taken apart in this match. A lot will depend on the Tottenham player’s mentality going into the game but after their recent loss to Manchester United they will be fired up for this one. That is why I see them winning by a margin of 1-4.
