GUTS Review

VISIT BOOKMAKER SITE

The adage you can’t judge a book by its cover certainly applies to GUTS online casino and sports book. More about the website later. Since entering the online gambling community in 2013, GUTS has done a good job of securing its place as a reliable online adult gaming provider. The website is owned by Gaming Innovation Limited and operated by MT SecureTrade Limited. The latter company holds dual licensing, one with the Malta Gaming Authority and one with the UK Gambling Commission, which allows the company to operate and advertise in the UK.

Website/Software/Mobile Apps

As for the website, the design is shockingly bland. It looks like an amateur web designer was given a day to throw something together and didn’t have time to add any bells or whistles. Actually, it does look they didn’t have time to add colors to help give the site some appeal. Anyone landing on this website’s home landing page for the first time would not realize it was an online gambling site until they saw the list of betting markets and some of the information below.

With all of that said, the website is actually pretty functional. The use of navigation buttons at the top of each page is a rather unique choice, making it easy for players to move from one page to another. By eliminating much of the advertising information online gambling operators plaster all over their websites, it gives the player a sense they are dealing with a bookmaker that is serious about taking bets.

The GUTS website operates on a proprietary software platform. It was shocking to navigate to the casino areas, only to find out there are currently no online casino games available. Furthermore, there’s nothing to indicate why that is. One can assume the site was built to allow for future online casino play, but assumptions can be wrong. In the “about us” section, the company implies there are a significant number of casino games being provided by Betsoft, NetEnt and Microgaming. For now, this reviewer will move forward like the GUTS website is operating only as a sports book.

There is no indication a mobile app is available. However, the website should be accessible with mobile devices through any regular web browser.

Bonuses

All of the current bonus promotions are targeting the casino area. It starts with a 200% matching bonus offer on the player’s first deposit with the maximum bonus amount being capped at 100 euros. The same bonus also comes with 100 free spins on a designated slot game. The remaining bonus offers appear to be intermittent offers involving more free spins, reload bonus opportunities and special drawings or tournaments. The terms and conditions on bonuses, including a 30x rollover requirement, would seem to be on par with most of the online casino industry.

Available Betting Markets/Wagering Options

While there may be issues and holes in the software, the sports betting module is quite comprehensive. Every day, GUTS gives sports gamblers plenty of betting markets and games/matches to wager on. The number of soccer matches a day can range anywhere from 100 all the way up to 500 matches. That includes games from major soccer leagues and international tournaments from all over the world. During the MLS season in America, soccer bettors can literally bet on soccer matches 24 hours a day.

If soccer doesn’t always fill the desire to wager on sports, GUTS is happy to provide many other sports betting options. Depending on the time of year, bettors can get access to major league and collegiate sports from the US (NCAABB, NCAAFB, MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL) as well as special events betting on events like the Super Bowl or World Series. Other available betting markets include popular sports from Australia, South America and Asia. After pre-match bets come off the board for a given games, bettors can enjoy the opportunity to place live action bets. Unfortunately, the GUTS website does not provide live streaming on sports events to enhance the in-game betting experience.

The list of wagering options is fairly standard. It includes straight bets, accumulators (parlays) with very few limitations, teaser bets on some American sports, proposition bets on games and special events and future odds betting. In an effort to go the extra mile, the GUTS site offers a menu item called “statistics” to help sports gamblers with the handicapping process. That’s a unique function everyone should take advantage of whenever possible.

At a later date, this reviewer will give an update on the online casino portion of the website. The poker room seems to be functional with hundred of players online to play games like Draw, Stud and Hold-em poker.

Banking

The GUTS website provides a rather small selection of banking options, though most of the most popular ones are on the list. The current deposit options include VISA, MasterCard, bank transfer, ecoPayz, Neteller, paysafecard, Skrill, UKash and WebMoney. The withdrawal options are limited to VISA, bank transfer, WebMoney and Skrill. Customers need to refer to customer service for banking limits. In the “about us” section, ownership makes a pledge to process withdrawals within 6 hours of the request.

Customer Service

Customer service is available 24/7/365 with live chat and email as the only contact options. There is no phone option. By all indications, the customer service department is doing a good job. Responses to inquiries are made promptly and the replies address the questions at hand.

Conclusion

It’s difficult to reach a conclusion or make a recommendation on the GUTS website without a full understanding of why casino games came up “not available.” From a sports betting standpoint, bettors will get access to everything they need to enjoy betting on their favorite sports. It’s hard to complain about a sports book that provides access to dozens of betting markets and hundreds of games every day. One last thing. The home landing page is really unsightly. If a bettor can get past the cover, they will find out that the book isn’t that bad.

  • naturally like your website but you need to check the spelling on several of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth nevertheless I’ll certainly come back again.
