With only a couple of weeks left before the Premier League January transfer window opens there are lots of rumors circulating the back page newspapers. Some of these deals look certain to take place but in the world of agents and superstar players, nothing is quite that simple. With the recent departure of Jose Mourinho, it is likely we will see a number of new faces come and go at Old Trafford in 2019. Below are the latest transfer odds for deals that have a good chance of happening during the window.
Aaron Ramsey – Bayern Munich – Odds 3.50
It is no secret that Aaron Ramsey is refusing to sign a new contract extension so it is likely he will be on his way out of the club over the next 6 months. Many sports betting sites have recently slashed his odds after German giants Bayern expressed an interest. Many gunner fans expected to see Wilshere and Ramsey become the future of the club guiding them to winning many trophies but this is not going to be the case. Wilshire is now at West Ham and if the bookies have got the odds correct then it looks like the Wales international is on his way to Bayern Munich.
Harry Kane – Real Madrid – Odds 11.00
If Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy was to sell Harry Kane he would need to pack his bags and leave the UK for good as Tottenham fans would literally murder him. That is not going to stop Real Madrid however chasing the forward as they have recently made him one of their priority targets. With the cost of the new Spurs Stadium skyrocketing, there may be a need for them to cash in so depending on the amount offered, there is a slim chance it may go ahead.
Romelu Lukaku – Juventus 6.00
It has been a dreadful campaign so far for Manchester United which has resulted in Mourinho getting the sack Lukaku must hold some of this responsibility. It has not been a good season so far for the Belgium forward so hopefully, he can show what he is made of or he will soon be out of the Old Trafford door. If Man U do want to cash in on him, Juventus are leading the way so there may be a big made in January to test the water.
Toby Alderweireld – Manchester United 4.50
One of Jose Mourinho biggest complaints, when the summer transfer window closed, was the fact that the club did not sign any of his central defenders he had identified. Number one on that list was Toby Alderweireld who is coming to the end of his current Spurs deal. A deal may be struck in January so that his club can still cash in but with them being direct challengers it is difficult to see the manager sanctioning such a move.
Jadon Sancho – Arsenal – .7.00
The Gunners are going to need to replace Ramsey when he leaves the club and one player that is on that list is Jadon Sancho who has been fantastic this campaign. He is only 18 years old and full of bags of potential but it all depends if the manager is looking for an experience rather than youth.
