On the 30th of January at 20:00 Premier League leaders Liverpool are at home against Leicester City.
Liverpool F.C
Liverpool is at the top of the table sitting on 60 points and is 4 ahead of 3rd place Manchester City along with 9 above 3rd place Tottenham Hotspur. They beat Crystal Palace in a thrilling 4-3 at Anfield in their last outing in the EPL and will be hoping to secure another valuable 3 points against Leicester. They face West Ham away and are at home against Bournemouth in their next two matches so it gives them a great chance of extending their lead.
Leicester City F.C
Leicester is currently in 9th place with 31 points and is only 2 points behind 7th place, Watford. They were unlucky in their last match in the Premier League as they lost 4-3 to Watford so will be looking to try and bounce back. They have not been on form so far this year having only won once against Everton so far this year. The game against Liverpool is the start of a nightmare run in the EPL as in their next two matches after this they face Manchester United at home and are then away at Tottenham Hotspur so if they pick anything up over the next three games they will be happy.
Prediction – Liverpool Win
If Liverpool is going to finally win the Premier League these are the games that they can not afford to slip up in. They are on form and should be able to comfortably beat Leicester who so far this year have not been playing at their best. With the Anfield advantage, I think that Liverpool will start fast and be a couple of goals up by half time then cruise to a 3-0 victory.
