After suffering from a shock 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United in their last Premier League match, Man City need to bounce back right away or their title chances will be over. They are on 56 points and 5 behind EPL leader Liverpool so can not afford to drop any more points. Spurs are now only 2 points behind City so if they slip up against Arsenal they could end up in 3rd and 8 points behind Liverpool. They play away at Everton and they are at home to Chelsea so it is a tricky run-in they have which they will need maximum points to stay in the race for the title.
Arsenal F.C
After suffering from a 1-0 loss at West Ham, Arsenal has bounced back since and won there next two matches in the EPL. They beat Chelsea 2-0 and then followed that up in their last match with a 2-1 win over Cardiff. Those two results have helped them to get back into the top four on goal difference at Chelsea’s expense and they will be hoping they can stay there until the end of the season. They are on 47 points and are 2 points clear of 6th place Manchester United so it is going to be a huge battle between the three clubs for that last Champion League qualification spot.
Prediction – Manchester City Win
With so much on the line, we will see the best version of the Blue along with Manchester City playing at home should give them enough to get the vital result they need to stay in the race for the title. I think City will score early and then capitalize from the space exposed by the Gunners trying to get back into the game and the result finishing 3-1 to Man City.
