On Saturday the 19th of January Manchester United will be looking to continue their unbeaten run under new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer against Brighton with a kick off time of 15:00.

Solskjaer passed the first real test of his managerial skill against Spurs in Manchester United’s last game in the EPL. The Red Devils remain unbeaten since he replaced Mourinho and if the team continue their fine form it will be impossible for him not to get the job permanently. With Burnley away and Leicester at home after the Brighton game, there is a good chance the team could keep their hot streak going. If they do manage that there is a great chance they will be able to get the final Champions League qualification place which looked like an impossible task until the new manager took over.
Brighton F.C
Brighton was unfortunate not to get anything from their last match in the EPL against Liverpool which they lose 0-1. If they are going to beat Man U they will have to be at their best but they are definitely capable of causing an upset. They drew with West Ham and beat Everton before the defeat and will be hoping to get back on track by causing the first defeat of Solskjaer time in charge. They have Fulham and Watford after the Manchester United game so it is a great chance to get valuable points. They only need a few more wins to secure safety as they are currently on 26 points so anything from the Man U match will be a bonus.
Prediction – Manchester United Win
As long as the Manchester United players are not too confident after beating Spurs and do not give everything, there could be an upset on the cards. That may have been the case under Mourinho but I can not see the same happening under Solskjaer. I do not think it will be an easy win but see them coming out on top 2-1.
