Newcastle is deep in the relegation battle and they need to turn things around or face dropping back down to the Championship once again. They are just 2 points above 3rd from bottom Cardiff so if they get beaten by Man City they stand a chance of being in the relegation zone at the start of February. In their last match, they thrashed Cardiff by 3-0 which will of helped boost confidence but they face a huge task of getting anything against last season champions. They are away at Tottenham Hotspur and Wolves in their next two EPL games so it is going to be very difficult for them to get the points they need to avoid dropping into the drop zone.

Manchester City F.C

Man City are four points behind Liverpool for the chase for the EPL title and they will be hoping it drops to a single point by the start of February if things go their way. In their last four matches in all competitions, they have managed an astonishing 22 goals and will fancy adding to that at St James Park. In their last Premier League game, they beat Huddersfield 0-3 and look back to their best. After this game, they face Arsenal in the EPL which will be a much harder test and one they need to win to keep the pressure on Liverpool.

Prediction – Manchester City Win

Man City are scoring goals for fun at the moment and due to the fact that Newcastle United have struggled to defend all campaign, it could be a high scoring game. I think City will win by a margin of 3 goals to win the match 1-4.
