After losing to Manchester United at the start of January, Tottenham Hotspur won all of their next 3 matches which have kept them in the title race. Both Man City and Liverpool have slipped up in recent weeks which means now the gap to second is only 2 points and first place 5 points. They still have both teams to play so they are in with an excellent chance of snatching the title come to the end of the campaign. They play away at Burnley and Chelsea in their next 2 EPL games so if they can win both of those, along with beating Leicester on Sunday they will put a huge amount of pressure on City and Liverpool.
Leicester City
It has been a difficult run of matches in the EPL for Leicester as in their last 2 games they faced both Liverpool and Manchester United. They were able to hold the leaders to a draw and were unlucky not to grab another point in their last match against the Red Devils which they lost 0-1. They currently sit in 11th place in the league and are only 2 points from 8th place Wolves. They are at home to Crystal Palace and Brighton in their next 2 Premier League matches.
Prediction – Tottenham Hotspur Win
If Spurs are going to finally win the Premier League they will need to remain unbeaten until the end of the season. With Son back in the team from the Asia Cup, they look like they are going to get goals even though Kane is out injured. It is going to be a difficult task for them as Leicester have shown in their last 2 games that they can hold their own with the big boys so I expect it to be a tight game that Tottenham win by 1-0.
