If Manchester United get their way in the summer transfer window, it could see Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino joining the Red Devils. Tottenham will be determined to keep hold of their manager who has completely transformed the team into title contenders on a shoestring budget. It adds an extra layer of intrigue to the game as new Man U manager Solskjaer will be determined to prove he is the one for the job by beating his rival contender for the position. Apart from the recent loss to Wolves, Spurs have been on fire banging in goals for fun and after beating the Red Devils away from home at the start of the campaign, they will be wanting to do the double over their rivals.

Under new manager, Solskjaer Man U have looked like the old version under Sir Alex Ferguson where they dominated teams through attacking football. He has had an unbelievable start by winning his first four matches in style and as a result equaling Sir Mat Busby record of four in a row. The game against Spurs is his first real test to see how far he can take the team this campaign while he is in charge as interim manager. If he is able to manage to get them into the Champion League qualification spot by the end of the season, there will be a lot of pressure from fans to give him the permanent role.
Prediction – Tottenham Win
It is a difficult match to predict between these two clubs as a lot will depend on which Manchester United team turn up at Wembley. Both teams will be looking to continue there fine goalscoring form so expect a number of goals in this game. The first goal of the match will be vital and I think Spurs will score it which should help them see the game through 2 – 1.
