The lunchtime kick-off for this weekend’s Premier League match is between Wolves vs Leicester which kicks off at 12:30 on Saturday the 19th of January.

They were then able to surprise everyone by knocking out Liverpool in the EFL cup by beating them 2-1. Their last match in the Premier League did not go so well against last years Champions Manchester City as they lost 3-0. They will be looking to bounce back from that defeat and push for a 7th place finish. Currently, they are 9th on 29 points but are only 3 points behind 7th place Watford.

Leicester started the year with a win against Everton but since then have been knocked out of the EFL Cup by Newport and lost their last match at home in the EPL against Southampton 1-2. It is vital that they get points from this fixture as in their next 3 games in the Premier League they face Liverpool away, Manchester United at home and they are away again against Tottenham Hotspur. They are going to be lucky to get anything from these 3 matches which is why they must get all 3 points on the weekend.

Prediction – Wolves Win

This match could go either way as when both teams are in a form that is capable of beating most as they have shown. One of the biggest problems for Leicester has been putting the ball in the back of the net and have managed to scrape by with a large number of 1-0 wins. Wolves have shown against Liverpool and Spurs that they are on form and if they can play as they have against the top 6 teams, they should be able to grab all three point from this one. I predict they will win 0-2.
